Emma One Sock
10% off for ASG members. These fabrics come from industry in widths (54-60) which saves yardage. The pantone colors are listed so you know exact;u what you are getting. The detailed descriptions include applications and fabric care (dry clean or laundry) instructions. Best photos in the business and you really can tell quite a bit about the drape and exact placement of print on the fabric. They put up new items daily and a few do sell out immediately. It’s that good.
Miss Matatabi
Francis is THE source for top quality wovens in natural fibers. They are sourced from top Japanese brands and are made for the home sewist who demand better quality. She has beautifuldouble gauzes, linen, lawn, seersuckers, etc. They do get a few collections of designer apparel fabrics that are not available from other online sources. Great photos help quite a bit on understanding what you will be getting and they carefully inspect and package the fabric.
Marcy Tilton
This is a tightly curratated collection of fabrics for people who like that signature Tilton style: sophisticated, artsy and slightly French. Best for those who don’t want to spend time finding the right fabrics and happy to pay extra for her expertise locating “just the right thing”, These fabrics work perfectly with her popular patterns at Vogue, Butterick, etc. and there are very good photos, suggestions of patterns and examples of the fabric used to make a garment so it’s always a pleasure to visit.
French General
Famous for their quilting fabric, they also have interesting stitching and jewelry projects. I got this boro bag project from them and it came with a very nicely made linen tote. Boro is the ancient Japanese technique of quilting patching garments.
This is an example of historic boro from the Amuse Museum in Tokyo.

Farmhouse Tablecloth Fabric
Looks like a great price for hard to find traditional farmehouse look, but the shipping adds to that price making it more similar to normal market pricing. They do have a very nice selection of coordinated fabric in tan, cream, blue and red.
Swimwear and Performance Fabric
Notions
Quality Grommets for Jeans, etc.
Zippers
Quality issues with classic zipper for home sewists caused a swtich to YKK.
Petersham Ribbons
More flexible allowing application around curves, use as collars, etc. than grograin and softer for waistbands.
Britex in SF often has “hard to find” colors and will work to help you find an exact match.
